Terms
Terms of Service
Last updated: November 1, 2026
AI Export Advisor (Volos) is operated by Searocraft LLC.
These terms cover AI Export Advisor, the software service from Volos Global. The service gives you AI-generated export assessments and documents.
Acceptance
By creating an account, signing in, or using AI Export Advisor, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you can agree for that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Accounts
Saved assessments and paid features use an account. You can register with an email and a password, or with Google when that option is shown on the signup page. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping the password private. The email and other account details you give us must be accurate. Do not share your login.
We may refuse a registration, or suspend or close an account, if you break these terms, if a payment is reversed, or if we stop offering the service.
Paid plans and one-time purchases
Some features are free. Paid plans and one-time purchases are billed by Stripe.
A paid plan is a recurring subscription, such as Copilot. A one-time purchase is a single charge, such as unlocking a report, upgrading a report, running a paid reassessment, or buying a chat pack.
The price is the price shown on the pricing page and confirmed on the Stripe checkout page when you pay. These terms do not list prices. If the pricing page and the checkout page differ, the amount on the Stripe checkout page is the amount you authorize.
Taxes, if Stripe calculates any, are added at checkout. Card numbers are handled by Stripe. Volos Global does not store the card number.
You can review a subscription from the billing page in your account, which opens Stripe's customer portal. Canceling a subscription stops future renewal charges. Access you already paid for follows the status shown on your billing page and in Stripe. A declined or failed payment does not unlock the paid feature.
Refunds
Volos Global does not give refunds, except where the law requires a refund. Canceling a subscription stops future renewal charges. It does not refund a charge that has already been made.
AI-generated output
Assessments, market notes, and document drafts from AI Export Advisor are informational. They are not legal advice, customs advice, or compliance advice. They are not a customs entry, a binding ruling, licensed customs brokerage, a license determination, a financing offer, or a filed export declaration.
Classifications, duty estimates, document drafts, and similar results can be wrong or out of date.
Your responsibility
You must check the output before you rely on it. Before you ship, file, claim a trade preference, pay a duty, or sign a contract, verify classifications, duties, documents, and destination rules with a qualified broker, a customs authority, or another professional. You are responsible for the product facts you enter. Volos Global does not make the export decision for you.
Acceptable use
Use the service only for lawful export planning. You agree not to:
- use the service to plan, hide, or carry out an unlawful export, a sanctions evasion, or a false customs filing
- upload material you do not have the right to use
- try to break, probe, or overload the service, or to get another person's account or data
- resell, copy, or present the service as your own product
- use automated means to scrape the service, other than a normal browser or an interface we provide
Intellectual property and your content
Volos Global owns the service, including the software, the site, the report layout, and the Volos name and marks. These terms do not transfer that ownership. We give you a limited right to use the service while these terms allow it.
You keep ownership of the product descriptions, costs, photos, and other material you submit. You give Volos Global permission to host that material and to use it to produce your assessment, documents, and related features, including by sending it to the model provider that generates the output. That permission is to run the service for you. It is not permission to sell your material.
You may download the assessments and draft documents we generate for your account and use them for your own planning. You may not remove our notices from the service or claim our software as yours. The example report on the public site is our sample, not a customer's content.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. The product does not have a self-serve button that deletes stored data. To ask us to close an account or delete stored assessment data, email the contact address below.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we must do so to comply with law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that should continue after access ends, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and the dispute-resolution terms, stay in effect.
Denied-party screening
Denied-party screening compares a name you enter with the public U.S. Consolidated Screening List. A result says potential match — review required, or no potential match. It is not legal advice, and it is not a filing. Volos does not file Electronic Export Information, does not hold ACE credentials, and does not act as your customs broker or authorized agent. You, or your authorized agent, file in AESDirect. Party names may be sent to trade.gov for an optional cross-check. Party names and addresses are not sent to the model provider.
EEI worksheet
Volos prepares an Electronic Export Information worksheet. It is not sent to AES. You, or your authorized agent, file in AESDirect. Volos does not store an employer identification number, a Social Security number, or an ACE password. The Foreign Trade Regulations expect EEI records to be kept for 5 years. Volos keeps the worksheet while the account exists. That does not replace your own records.
Product classification
Product classification may send the product description to the model provider. It does not send party names or addresses. A Schedule B suggestion is checked against the Census table, and you pick the code. An export-control result is a questionnaire outcome. EAR99 means the item was not found on the Commerce Control List, and Volos is not determining it. Volos does not file Electronic Export Information.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, Volos Global disclaims warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Public trade data and model output change. A result in your account is not a promise that a shipment will clear, that a duty amount is final, or that a document will be accepted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Volos Global is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, duties, penalties, or shipping costs that result from using the service or from a decision you make with it.
Volos Global's total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid Volos Global for the service during the 12 months before the claim. If you have not paid anything, the limit is the minimum the law allows.
Some places do not allow these limits. Where they do not, the limits apply only as far as the law allows.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except where the arbitration section applies, the state and federal courts located in Utah County, Utah are the exclusive venue for a dispute.
Arbitration
If you have a dispute with Volos Global, email [email protected] and describe it. You must give us 30 days after that email to try to resolve the dispute informally before you file a claim.
If it is not resolved in those 30 days, the dispute goes to binding individual arbitration. The arbitration uses the Consumer Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, or the Commercial Arbitration Rules if those apply instead. The arbitration is seated in Utah County, Utah. The arbitrator's decision is final, and a court may enter it as a judgment.
You may still bring an individual case in small-claims court. Either you or Volos Global may also ask a court for an injunction to stop misuse of intellectual property. Those are the only exceptions to arbitration.
Class actions
Claims must be brought on an individual basis only. You waive any right to bring or take part in a class action, a consolidated action, or a representative action.
If this waiver is unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim goes to the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah, and the arbitration section does not apply to that claim.
Indemnity
You indemnify Volos Global for claims arising from your content, your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms or the law, or your export or shipping decisions. That means you will pay the damages, losses, and reasonable expenses that result from those claims.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the Last updated date. If you keep using the service after that new version is posted, you agree to it. If you do not agree, stop using the service and email us about your account.
