AI Export Advisor (Volos) is operated by Searocraft LLC.
An email-and-password account stores your email and an optional name. If you leave the name blank, Volos uses the part of the email before the @ sign. The password is stored as a hash, not as the password you typed.
A report is generated from the product description, cost, and manufacturing origin you enter, plus any optional shipment details (weight, size, shipping mode, or delivery terms).
An optional product photo can help classify the product. The photo is not stored after the report is generated. Volos keeps only a note that a photo was used.
Card numbers are handled by Stripe. Volos does not store the card number. A payment record keeps the amount and a Stripe checkout id.
We do not sell the contents of your assessment.
Denied-party screening stores the party name you enter, plus an optional country and address, on your account so you can review the result and export an audit record. When a result is a potential match and a trade.gov API key is configured, Volos may send that party name to trade.gov to cross-check the Consolidated Screening List. Party names and addresses are not sent to xAI.
Product classification may send the product description to the model. Party names and addresses are not sent for classification.
The EEI worksheet stores the party names and addresses you enter, the destination, and the values used for the EEI check. It does not store an employer identification number or a Social Security number. Volos keeps the worksheet while the account exists. You should keep your own records for 5 years.
