What we're building next
Volos Global
This is the product roadmap we are willing to put in front of users. It covers only major things you will see in the product — not internals, not experiments, and not a calendar. Sequence is more honest than dates; we will update this post as items ship or drop off.

You describe a product, optionally with a photo and dimensions. Volos returns a decision package:
- Classification. A likely HTS code, alternatives, and a confidence score.
- Country ranking. Markets ordered by realistic opportunity.
- Landed cost and margin. Delivered cost per market, including duties and freight bands.
- Compliance flags. Sanctions, export-control watch items, and known barriers, with citations.
- Documentation. A corridor checklist, plus commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and shipper’s letter of instruction drafts you can print. Templates only — verify with a broker before you ship.
- A recommendation. What to do next, not a data dump.
- Logistics options. Ranked shipping modes with cost vs transit tradeoffs and corridor notes — bands, not bookings or partner CTAs.
- Payment terms and Incoterms. First-export guidance on how you get paid — not a financing offer.
- Distributor candidates. Categorized or official public-research leads in the unlocked markets, with citations. Verify them yourself; not an endorsement or a live partner match.
The free assessment gives you the tariff code and a ranked-market teaser. Essential unlocks up to two markets; Standard is the full report. A monthly Copilot subscription is for people who assess products regularly: it includes a Standard unlock each period, extra unlocks at a lower price, and a thread you can keep going across products.
Paid reports can be saved as a PDF or shared with a link. Saved products live in your library so you can reassess when duty inputs change, and Alerts tells you when that happens. A public example Standard report shows the same sections without an account.
Next: quality on the reports you already get
The next work is making the decision package more trustworthy and easier to act on — not inventing a partner network.
Today, Distributor Finder turns official ITA Country Commercial Guides into structured candidates (category leads, official directories, public agencies, known trade shows) with citations, confidence, and a verify-yourself frame. There is no partner marketplace on this site, no advertised supplier directory, and nobody pays us for referrals.
Paid reports stay decision support. When a real referral agreement exists we will disclose it in the product. Until then we will not fill empty slots with invented brands, and we will not advertise a live buyer network.
Further out: teams and the other direction
Two larger changes sit after that.
Workspaces. Shared seats, roles, and an institutional package for a manufacturer with several people on export, or for a chamber / advisor serving many clients. The product today is one person, one account.
Import and sourcing. The same classification, cost, and compliance machinery pointed at bringing goods in, not only sending them out. That is a different decision, and we will not pretend an export report answers it.
What is not on this list
A few things people reasonably ask about, and that we are not treating as near-term product:
- A human review desk. Confirm high-stakes calls with your own broker or counsel. We will not sell “expert review” until there is someone to staff it.
- Live freight booking or carrier quotes. Logistics in the report is a ranked cost and transit band with mode tradeoffs. A booked rate is not a toggle we can flip on the current estimate.
- A public partner marketplace or supplier directory. Admin rails exist so a real agreement can be added later. They are not advertised here, and empty slots are not a network.
- Replacing a broker, attorney, or shipping system. Volos is decision support. That line does not move.
If something in a report is wrong, tell us. The fastest way this list changes is users showing us which gap actually blocks a shipment.
